MITO Tools, Japan

Above, tools made by MITO for Suzuki.  Below, for Kawasaki.

Mitoloy Tools (Mito Alloy Tool Manufactory) was founded in Showa 15 (1940) by Nomi Funaichi in Mito, a city in northern Japan.  In 1957, it received the contract to produce tools for the Japanese Defense Agency.  In 1963 the company name was changed to Mito Kiki Co., Ltd. and a new factory was constructed. That's about all I can make out on their website.

Not the finest of quality, as I recall from my experiences beside the road with the factory tool kits of the motorcycles of my past...
