The first Bultaco SherpaT

The first Bultaco trials bike proudly displayed by Sammy Miller, designed and built by himself and Bultaco in a 12 day session in 1963. This bike was the prototype for the first production model, designated the Model 10.
Photos from the Osprey book Spanish Trials Bikes by Don Morley,  a must-have book for any trials bike history fan.

Below, the first year production Sherpa T from a test in the June 1966 Modern Cycle issue showing how similar the production bike was to the prototype.

4 European trials championships, 5 world trials championships, 11 Spanish trials championships and 11 United Kingdom trials championship - there wouldn't be too many other motorcycles as successful as the Sherpa T in any form of competition.
