Shell-Mex, the largest clock in London, England

The Children's Book of Achievement.  London & Glasgow:
Collins Clear-Type Press, 1958
The face is 7.62 meters in diameter.  Located in the Strand, London, and built between 1930 and 1931, Shell-Mex House was the headquarters for Shell-Mex and BP Ltd., a joint marketing venture between Royal Dutch Shell and British Petroleum.  As of last July, the building was in the process of being bought by a German family for £600 million.  I'd heard it was pricey to live in London!
