Mystery Tool


This came from a yard sale at an old farm.  I've no idea as to this tool's purpose.

The tool is a "zaagzetter" in Dutch, don't know what that's called in Englis, but it's for bending the teeth of woodsaws so the saw blade has got som clearance in the cut the teeth make.

Many thanks for visiting and for your information! In English, this would be a "saw set." I can see now how it would be used. Interestingly, every North American-made tool of this nature I've seen is of very different design.
